1987        First Place Xeriscape Award, Public Works Category, SAWARA Awards Competition.  Kolb Road through Alta Vista, Tucson, Arizona.

1987        Honorable Mention, TORO Landscape Industry Advancement Award Competition.  “Conservation Potential Analysis for Turf Facilities in Arizona:  Criteria for the Second Management Period 1990-2000, Arizona Groundwater Management Act.”  This honorable mention award was created specifically to award our firm for this project, since TORO Awards Competition normally awards only two first-place awards on an annual basis.  The judges commented as follows:

“It is reflective of a tremendous amount of work and may well prove invaluable to the entire industry... We feel, in time, the entire state of Arizona may be submitted as a project site due to the scope and magnitude of this report.”
