Walt Rogers, ASLA, is the President of The Acacia Group and founded the parent firm in 1979. Walt is a recognized leader in the Tucson Landscape Architecture community. He served on the faculty of the Landscape Architecture Program at the University of Arizona and has practiced landscape architecture for 24 years. He has managed a wide range of historical and culturally significant projects, roadway beautification projects and City of Tucson Parks and Recreation
projects. He is familiar with ADOT and AASHTO design criteria and ADOT's Design Concept Report process. He also has served on a number of City design and engineering committees.
Under Walt's overall guidance of the firm or as a direct project manager, he has worked on the following related projects that have involved historically and culturally significant sites, roadway beautification, multi-use transportation, landscape and irrigation design to
City of Tucson standards and public participation
in the design process.
